Permission controller

Permission controller is a system app on Android devices that handles everything related to managing permissions. This system app's role is to display a pop-up window on the interface requesting permissions from an app. The most common permissions that pop up are storage permissions, camera access, microphone access and location access, among many others.

Remember (and forget) app permissions

Apps make a permissions request through Permission controller. After granting it, this app's job is to remember that the app has permission to work, as well as removing this permission if it has only been granted for a single use.

Permission controller also disables sensitive permissions for an app if you haven't used them for a long time or if the app isn't using them. As a result, you can reduce the risk of potential privacy issues in the future.

If you delete Permission controller by mistake, each time an app goes to request a permission, an Android error will appear.
